Scientific Games Corporation extends Kentucky instant games contract

American gaming machine and systems innovator Scientific Games Corporation has announced the signing of a deal that will see it continue to provide the Kentucky Lottery Corporation with a range of instant games for a further eight years.

Las Vegas-based Scientific Games Corporation stated that the contract extension means that players in the ‘Bluegrass State’ will continue to enjoy instant games such as Wild 8’s and Bluegrass Blowout alongside new titles including Folding Money Doubler, Big Blue 8’s, Big Red 8’s and Big Money.

Scientific Games Corporation declared that the contract extension moreover includes a provision that will see the Kentucky Lottery Corporation incorporate its Cooperative Services Program innovation for the management of the lottery operator’s instant games and network of almost 3,000 retailers.

John Schulz, Instant Products Senior Vice-President for Scientific Games Corporation, described the extension as a ‘win-win’ before explaining that the Cooperative Services Program provision is moreover due to include the supply of his firm’s SciTrak instant games management system.

“We look forward to eight more years of growth for the Kentucky Lottery Corporation’s instant products through our trusted relationship with the lottery’s instant games and marketing teams,” read a Monday statement from Schulz.

Scientific Games Corporation detailed that its Cooperative Services Program advance is already utilized by over 20 lottery providers around the world to maximize sales and includes research, design and sales services as well as marketing support and logistics assistance.

For his part, Tom Delacenserie, President for the Kentucky Lottery Corporation, proclaimed that his organization had decided to extend its relationship with Scientific Games Corporation because the innovator had demonstrated an ability to provide ‘quality games, support and strategic plan 7BALL ning for our instant games portfolio’.

“The addition of the Cooperative Services Program allows us to build on the success of our instant games,” read a statement from Delacenserie. “Scientific Games Corporation’s product solutions and advanced logistics will enhance our ability to plan, manage and distribute our instant games in the most efficient manner possible across our retailer network and ultimately help us increase revenues for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.”
